GEM – Carlow Tank – Stormwater Attenuation Tank System

*Did you know!* In recent years severe storms and flooding have become very common, with floodwaters threatening potential long-term damage to buildings and infrastructure.

Here in The Willows GEM have designed a Stormwater Attenuation Tank System which has the ability to trap and store rainwater or stormwater run-off from roads and paved areas. This water is then released slowly into their natural drainage watercourses.

By capturing this rainwater in large concrete tanks and releasing it slowly, the risk of flooding or property damage is averted!
