Safe Systems in Procurement accreditation, supported by the HSE, allows us to streamline the prequalification process. SSIP actively reduces health and safety assessment costs and bureaucracy in the supply chain, by making cross-recognition between member schemes as effective as possible, and highlighting the savings to buyers and suppliers. We have fully committed to the vision of SSiP of driving unnecessary cost and confusion out of supplier health and safety assessment.

NISO helps us to promote and improve health and safety at work, build our relationships with other health and safety stakeholders and contributes its expertise to better occupational health and safety in our organisation.

IQNet, through its international network, is the preferred provider for global certification services and assessments, with a focus on management systems. All IQNet members have signed the IQNet Multi-Lateral Agreement (MLA). This means they mutually recognise the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and various other certificates of all other IQNet partner as being equivalent to their own. IQNet Certificates are the main evidence of this international recognition with confidence in certificate equivalence being founded on regular and rigorous peer evaluations across the Network

Our House Builders Federation membership ensures the HBF represents our interests on a national and regional level, addressing technical issues (e.g. regulations and standards), planning issues, and health and safety, among other areas. It also represents home building interests by attending meetings of the Strategic Forum for Construction

Our construction Line accreditation enables our Clients to fast track procurement procedures by demonstrating our compliance with key criteria such as insurances, Health & Safety, management team, organisational structure and quality.

Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme accreditation demonstrates Carlow Concrete’s compliance with important parts of health and safety law (the core criteria described in the CDM regulations). CHAS is a national database of contractors who have been through a health and safety assessment, and have demonstrated adequate compliance and management standards. CHAS approved contractors are therefore approved to work on contracts for local authorities and other members.

Builder’s Profile is an open-access Common Database service providing compliance and PQQ information to the construction industry. This secure common database enables subcontractors and suppliers to easily maintain and share information. For main contractors and clients it provides all the information, documents and tools required to manage a supply chain no matter how large or small.

Carlow Concrete is accredited to both Achilles UVDB Audited & Achilles UVDB Qualified. Achilles UVDB is the community for the UK utilities industry. It enables the utilities sector to use Achilles' proven supplier pre-qualification system to manage risk within the supply chain and comply with EU regulations.

Carlow Concrete is fully certified for the factory production of its precast concrete products in accordance with Annex ZA OF I.S. EN 14992:2007+A1:2012 CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY OF THE FACTORY PRODUCTION CONTROL 0050 - CPR – 0815 System 2+ This certification is in compliance with the Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EEC
